TARA ROBIN M.S., M.ED., LAC
Tara Robin is a National Board-Certified Counselor (NBCC) and a Licensed Associated Counselor (LAC). Tara holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Secondary Education from Northern Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and Spanish from Arizona State University. She works with adults, families and adolescents. She also provides couples counseling. Her background in counseling and education can assist children and adolescents who might be struggling in school or engaging with peers.
In addition to providing individual and family therapy services, Tara specializes in OCD, PTSD, and trauma-related issues. In the treatment of OCD, Tara implements the evidenced-based technique Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). When working with couples, she incorporates Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples. She is also bilingual in Spanish and English. In her spare time Tara enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking with her husband and 2 dogs. She also enjoys watching foreign films and planting in her garden.
